Looking for an easy, fun way to spend a Saturday with the family? Pack a blanket, grab the kids, and head to Heathcote Botanical Gardens for Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 12, from 10 AM–4 PM!

With free admission, it’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, get outside, and enjoy one of the last Saturdays of summer surrounded by beautiful gardens and plenty of family-friendly activities.

 Explore, Play & Discover

There’s something for everyone to enjoy at Heathcote. Let the kids run, play, and use their imaginations in the Children’s Garden, challenge each other to a round of lawn games, or wander through the gardens together and see what you can discover.

Be sure to make a stop at the Little Library. Pick out a book, take a quiet moment to read, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Try Your Luck at Plant Bingo

Calling all plant lovers and bingo fans! Join us in the Pavilion from 11 AM–12 PM for Plant Bingo.

It’s a fun way to explore the world of plants while adding a little friendly competition to your day. Bingo cards are $5 each or 5 for $20. Bring the family and see who can get the winning combination!

 Pack a Picnic & Stay Awhile

Why rush home? Bring along your favorite lunch and a blanket and find your own perfect picnic spot among the gardens.

Heathcote is also filled with benches where you can sit back, relax, and simply listen to nature. Take a break beneath the trees, watch the gardens come to life, and enjoy a little time together without having to be anywhere else.

If you need a snack or something cool to drink, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase in the Gift Shop.

Family Fun Day is all about enjoying the simple things: fresh air, green spaces, time together, a little play, and plenty of opportunities to make memories.
