Day 1 of our “All Around the World” Summer Camp began in the Bonsai Gallery. Guest speaker Belinda Kehoe took the kids on a tour of the gallery, and along the way she explained how bonsai are grown. Which trees “fight back”? How do you grow bonsai on a rock? Which one had edible fruit?
Continuing the Asian theme, camp teacher Nan Billings led the children in slicing, dicing, and stir-frying their way to an awesome pineapple teriyaki stir-fry.
