Concrete leaves are a cast of a leaf which can be used for planters, fountains, birdbaths and art, etc. Join Cheryl Friend Saturday, February 27, 2016 9:30-11:30 as she instructs how to make a concrete leaf to take home and enjoy. Concrete materials and leaves will be supplied.
Students need to:
• Provide a ridged, strong base for the leaf (quarter sheet of plywood), so that you can take your leaf home. Be sure you have room in your car to lay your base flat.
• Wear old clothes. Bring hand tools (spatula, putty knife, etc.), rubber gloves, eye protection, large plastic bag to enclose the base and take home, and plastic grocery bags to cover the leaf.
