Music in the Gardens: Every Thursday approximately 12 pm – 1 pm
Looking for a wonderful way to decompress. Come by Heathcote Botanical Gardens on Thursdays between 12-1pm and enjoy Bob Lusk performing meditative  style music. An hour to wander among the Gardens while enjoying the wonderful background ambiance. It is a combination certain to please. Free with admission to garden. Occurs most Thursdays.

Bonsai classes: Sign up today for one of our upcoming Bonsai classes. We have at least one per quarter.  What options are still waiting for you: March is Wiring for Bonsai, May is Beginner Bonsai with Tropicals and October we have Beginner Bonsai with Portulacaria.  Join us on adventure and learn a new art.

Garden of Lights November 29th 2024- January 4, 2025 Friday and Saturdays 5:30-9pm
Our 10th annual Garden of Lights kicks off on Thanksgiving weekend, November 29^th and 30^th, and run Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., through the end of December.  Garden of Lights visitors will enjoy enchanted gardens that feature favorite light displays from last year, as well as new additions to dazzle audiences. This year an amazing light waterfall will grace the main lawn. In addition, our secret garden will be open for the public our newest feature at Heathcote. Make sure you come prepared to grab your photo in the Secret Garden. As well many unique additions to the rainforest display along with some jazzing up of our famous under the sea light vignette. The Gardens is transformed into an oasis of wonder for 6 exciting weekends. Be sure to add this to your must see over the winter holidays! Pricing and ticket sales will be posted closer to the event. Bonsai Collection Tour:
Occurs when the curator is onsite,
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Tour the James J. Smith Bonsai Collection,
meet the curator and hear the history of the collection. *November-May. Call for more information or to schedule your groups private tour. Minimum group of 10 required to book a private tour.

Bonsai Clinic with the Bonsai Curator:

Sharpen your skills and learn how to care for your Bonsai. Bring your questions and thirst for knowledge.
