You along with 375,000 other guests have walked into Heathcote through the Gift Shop and Welcome Center. Now untold critters have also walked in – without a membership or paying admission! Help us chase the bugs out and create a new and improved Gift Shop and Welcome Center. Despite preventative measures and routine maintenance, the entry of termites has caused considerable damage that will cost $35,000 to repair.
The Gift Shop and Welcome Center is the first impression for members and visitors. It is a resource for information about special activities in the gardens, classes, events, plants, volunteerism and so much more. It is also home to local artists who display and sell their creations on a rotating basis.
