Looking for a wonderful way to decompress. Music in the gardens is a great way to relax. We host several events thought-out the year for our guests to enjoy music while in the gardens. Look for our next event coming soon.

Bonsai Classes
At least once per quarter
Sign up today for one of our upcoming Bonsai classes. We have at least one per quarter. All classes offered this year can be found under our store tab. You can sign up now for which ever ones intrigue you.

Bonsai Collection Tour
2PM – 4PM when curator is onsite
Tour the James J. Smith Bonsai Collection,
meet the curator and hear the history of the collection. *November-May. Call for more information or to schedule your group’s private tour. Minimum group of 10 required to book a private tour.

Bonsai Clinic with the Bonsai Curator
3PM – 4PM Call for current days available
Sharpen your skills and learn how to care for your Bonsai. Bring your questions and thirst for knowledge.
Advance registration required at least 2 weeks prior to the date: Members $10, $15 for Non-Members. Call us to enroll 772-464-4672.

A Walk in the Garden
Every 3rd Thursday of the month at 11AM
Heathcote’s Horticulturist or docent shares highlights of the living galleries at Heathcote.
Garden Admission (free to members). *November–May.

Want to do Art in the Garden?
Call us to arrange time for your group to come and surround yourself with the beauty of the garden to inspire your masterpieces. 772-464-4672. Please note, admission fee does apply but discounts are available for larger groups. You have the option to schedule this before regular garden hours on select days.

Propagators & Horticulture Helpers
Every Wednesday, play in the dirt and help maintain the Gardens for all to enjoy. Bring your lunch and enjoy sharing your favorite gardening stories with other nature enthusiasts who make a difference at Heathcote. Can’t make it on Wednesday? Volunteers are welcome any day of the week!
