Follow Three Curious Kittens During Story Walk at Heathcote Botanical Gardens

Looking for a fun, free activity the whole family can enjoy this summer? Heathcote Botanical Gardens invites families to experience Story Walk on Friday, July 17, from 10:00 AM until Noon.

This interactive outdoor reading adventure follows three curious kittens as they search for one of Heathcote’s most treasured attractions—the remarkable 220+ year-old bonsai tree.

As families stroll through the gardens, each stop reveals another page of the story, encouraging children to read while exploring beautiful landscapes filled with tropical plants, flowers, and peaceful pathways.

Story Walk is designed to inspire a love of reading while connecting children with nature and local history. Along the way, visitors will discover why Heathcote Botanical Gardens is home to one of the nation’s most unique bonsai collections.

Best of all, admission is FREE during the event from 10:00 AM to Noon.

Whether you’re looking for a memorable family outing, a summer reading adventure, or a chance to experience one of Fort Pierce’s hidden gems, Story Walk offers something for everyone. Plus as an added bonus Tales in the Wild will be onsite with free books!
